Everyone calls me Dev.

I run Muse Design Studio from my home in the Kootenays, with a cup of coffee close, a few too many open tabs and a head full of ideas. My work moves between branding, illustration, photography and web. I like when a project feels personal. I like when it has a story. I like when the design carries the same energy as the person behind it.

My path has never been linear. I spent years as a silversmith, building a small jewellery brand by hand. I learned how to trust my eye and commit to a craft. I learned how satisfying it is to create something that feels lived in and full of character. When life shifted, I went back to school for Digital Arts and everything opened up. Branding clicked. Design clicked. The storytelling piece clicked. Muse grew from that moment.

Now I work with people who want their brand to feel like a natural extension of who they are. Not a template. Not an aesthetic trend. Something with warmth and intention. Something they can stand behind. I care about clarity and mood. I care about work that feels grounded and expressive at the same time. I care about guiding clients through a process that feels easy and collaborative.
