Water Over Leaves is a ceremonial tea company by Melanie, rooted in herbal tradition and intentional tea making. Each blend is created in small batches with a focus on quality, flavour, and therapeutic care, drawing from both herbal wisdom and fine tea practice.
Based on the North Shore of Nelson, BC, Water Over Leaves is shaped by stillness, presence, and a close relationship to land. The studio and tasting space reflect this approach, offering tea as a quiet ritual rather than a quick drink.

The Collection
This shoot was shaped by the intention behind Wild Maiden. A tea created for cyclical awareness, reconnection, and quiet ritual. This shoot took place in the forest, using mossy ground, soft shade, and filtered light as the setting. The focus was on intimate close ups and natural textures, creating images that feel powerful, grounded, and personal.
